The Polish School of Posters is an artistic trend that emerged in the early 1960s. It was characterized by simple graphic form and metaphor that resulted in the creation of unique cultural posters, today considered as masterpieces of graphic design.
The exhibition presented by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Beirut is a collection of over a dozen theatre and opera posters created in the 90s of the last century. Their authors are renowned Polish artists such as: Wiesław Wałkuski, Rafał Olbinski, Wiktor Sadowski and Waldemar Swierzy.
